Shall we rant?

Maybe this is not ranting but a plea. Or maybe it's ranting in disguise of a plea. All in all, it's sha rant.

Today's rant is for extra sized people who don't pay extra transport. Now, I'm not calling anybody fat. You didn't see me say that. What I mean by extra sized people are those who occupy seats of two people or more.

Are you offended?!

So in this sapa era, I went out and as usual, there was drama. I was sitting in front cause well it's the best place for tiny people like me to enjoy space and breathe.

There were three people at the back and the car was looking full already. Meaning they were waiting for someone like me to come in next.

As it would happen, it was an extra sized woman.

The only woman at the back started saying that "noo oo!" She won't gree for them. She was ranting this time and asking if the driver was blind that, couldn't he see her size? At this point, I was laughing really hard hoping it was my silent laugh.

After the extra sized lady left, the lady that ranted was saying that the driver was making her look like a wicked person. Couldn't he see the space at the back?!

I wondered too. But, I couldn't blame him. Guy was probably in a rush and was waiting for one passenger and when he saw her, he didn't want to let her size discourage him. But, it did.

Time and time again, I have found myself squeezed in public transport. Feels like I have to become smaller because of the extra sized people I'm seating with. Sometimes, they are even inconsiderate with their posture and all.

In Shammah's ever wise words it feels like been squeezed like bread. The way cultists like me squeeze em. Do you know why we didn't say sardines? Cause they even have space. After coming out of vehicles when squeezed, I feel for my ribs.

To be honest, it's not as if I'm saying that you shouldn't be fat. Be fat my dear. Go for it. But when you become extra sized, please pay for the extra size too!

Anyways, have a lovely week and month🤗

  1. Loll, extra-sized people... I really enjoyed the read. Some of the important issues we need to talk about. We shy away from conversations like this.
