Highlands (Song of Ascent)

So Abujaajebo is going to be one year on the 7th and I'm super grateful to everyone who's being a part of this journey one way or the other.

I'll be doing song reviews and book reviews. For today, our song is going to be Highlands(Song of Ascent). 

This song was released in 2019 as part of the People Album and it's being my favorite in the Album since I first heard it.

The first thing I liked about it, is the tune of the song. Some songs kinda give us short of a prelude of how Heaven is or maybe feels like. This is one of them. 

It is a declaration that God would be praised all the way. He'll be praised when I'm on the mountain and when the mountain is in my way. Because He is the summit where my feet lie. I'm like yeahhhhh, that's my God😎.

So the part of the song that got me. I mean got me was when the song said;

Oh how fast would you come running

If Just to shadowed through the night

Trace my steps through all my failures

And I'm dancing(not that you would want to see me dance), that God is coming through for me. God is coming through for you. God is coming through for us. How great is that?
